Google's much fated open source Android phone OS is facing delays to the SDK (software development kit) as significant changes are made to its UI and API functionality.
The OS alterations are ostensibly being made to allow developers to take full advantage of the java-like Dalvik powered programs but there are whispers amongst developing circles that the current arrangements blocks access to the Android's core functions, and thus limit their ability to innovate.
With the next big player already facing hiccups could this be the beginning of a developer exodus from the sleeping giant?
