he phone is very attractive & easy to use once you get used to it! But every phone has its peculiarities & the Viewty is no different. I've previously owned more Sony Ericsson's than most folk (including the T68, T68i, T610, K700, K750, W810), my wife currently has the Sony Ericsson K850i & sometimes has trouble with the 3 touch keys at the base of the screen not registering her input! Whilst hers takes better quality flash pictures, the Viewty is more than a match for the Sony Ericsson in terms of daylight pictures, Video quality & colour richness when pictures are transferred to a PC. S.E's usually have exceptional battery life & I don't expect the Viewty to be a match in that department, but I have yet to optimise the battery so can't really comment on how well it might last.

ndeed, a triumph for LG & a phone that compares handsomely to anything else on the market. The touch screen is very responsive, granted not as good as the iPhone, but the iPhone's screen is the only thing it has going for it. If you've never had a touch screen device of any kind, give it a chance. Like anything new, it takes some getting used to. Sound is good, headphones fine, sms easy to use, camera superb!

I was mad with it for the first day & was going to take it back. By day two I had learnt to work it properly. It is stylish impressive but few niggles, MP3 player sound is not great, no standard ear phone jack. Have to use theirs. More annoying I can't delete the email folders for AOL, NTL & Yahoo which appear to be preloaded.

This is a great camera phone but not without its foibles. Most annoying is the activation of the key pad lock when a call is connected, no matter what you set the lock duration to. If you call a contact centre with an IVR then this is really annoying. Scroll bars take a bit of getting used to. Sometimes the page position is indicated by a light bar on dark, & at other times a dark bar on light. Had problems with the calendar crashing if you create an appointment or a duration that spans a couple of years. Not that any normal use would require this. Only way to fix this once it occurs is to reset the calendar. Couldn't find in the manual what the default PIN codes were. Not too hard to guess though. The user guide included isn't always a lot of help as it lacks detail in a lot of areas. The included PC software is very good. Great facility to import your contacts from a comma separated file. Overall, very pleased.

've had this phone for 2 weeks now. great apart from the low quality pictures, crystal clear up until the final image is diplayed, then it changes to blurred. shame because u can see how much detail it has picked up, & yes i do know how to use the settings. video capture is amazing. handset looks great & sounds great. interface could be slicker. oh yeah, maybe just my handset, but the image stability button...when it reads on, it's infact off! mmm, maybe if i set the cam to a lower megapixel it will actually be the 5mp setting...

WOW what a phone just cant think of anything bad to say about it. so easy to use within a day it felt like i had had it for months, but still cant stop playing with the camera and video. The video plays back on the TV is not like a phone its more like a video camcorder, and have printed some photos out turned out same as my normal camera. sometimes forget its a phone. In a word best phone i have ever had + camera + video
