The Unlocked Sony Ericsson K550i is a quad-band EDGE Cyber-shot phone with a 2 Megapixel autofocus camera and is a compact 14mm thin. It has an easy-to-use horizontal digital camera menu, and Bluetooth and picture blogging make sharing photos simple.

This phone is totally amazing. Firstly the picture quality is superb, it produces such a clear picture. The sound is fab. The phone is light and small to carry around and not at all bulky. I wish they could have made the camera zoom in on normal mode but you can zoom in on burst mode so that makes up for it. What really impresses me about this phone is that you can play a range of different formats like WMA which is great as you can store more tracks on the phone.

While some say that it only competes with their opponents in the price but not the features. Well this I laughed at the most cause I want you to try putting 8 movies (set to phone screen size so as not to waste memory), 136 (slightly compressed) songs, 35 games downloaded, 8 applications (which comprise of 1 English dictionary, 1 Chinese dictionary, 1 world map/clock, 1 file protector, face warp, hp print, photo mate & 1 unit converter, plus a whole lot of pictures & videos of holidays, campfires & friends in any other phone (not PDA & anything that isn't a phone) & see how that phone dies, or take a freaking long time to load. Oh & they made a mistake up there. The max is 2gig not 1 gig.

Plus Nokia cannot play all the games Sony can while Sony can. Nokia cannot send game. OK why talk just about Nokia. OK of all phones, which phone can do all thing things I have mentioned about? None =)

Got this two days ago and so far have not been too impressed. Keys are hard to press and reception is poor and i'm very disappointed with the camera. My old K750 took much better pictures and this is supposed to be a cybershot phone. Not much of an uprade at all.

I just got this phone today, and I am ecstatic about it. I was very surprised with the camera. The quality of the pictures are kind of low, but it is a 2mp camera. However this camera has a panorama mode, and several other modes that makes it great considering it is on the back of a phone. The phone is small as I have expected. It is also easy to use, and it has a great layout which looks new and modern. I have to agree with one of the previous reviews, that stated that the reception is kind bad.(I'm currently in the middle of a rain storm so that might be the reason, but I doubt it is) Another bonus in this phone is that you can use your own music files as ringtones. The only problem I really have is that the themes available in the Sonyericsson website are complicated to transfer into the phone. (But again I just got the phone today). The phone also lights up well, but the keys might be a little annoying to press if you are a "text messenger". Over all, by my standards this is a great phone. It is small, slim, and it has very good camera features.The reception is weak but it might depend where you live.
