Design is compact compared to N95 or E90 which are on the hefty side. So this handset feels comfy in your jeans. But it looks best attached to a lanyard around your neck.

The features are rich but it does lack HSDPA, which is odd because other medium to low-end W series or K series phones have it like W580i or the K630i. So why hold out with the P1i? Another thing, it does have flash for taking photos but the LED light cannot be used as a flashlight. Which is stupid

If you are looking for a phone with a balance between multimedia & business features then this is it. I would say the two main competitors to this phone are the N95 & the E61i. The N95 beats both phones on multimedia features & the inclusion of GPS; the E61i beats both phones on business functionality (full QWERTY keyboard, good range of apps installed, battery life), however if you're looking for an all rounder then the P1i beats both.

The amount of features that the P1 has got is just amazing. A fellow below reviewer wrote about the memory space, but hang on every one nowadays has an ipod & one would never get all their collection in a phone ever! So forget about that. The option of having the capability to increase the memory to 4 gig or even more is truly amazing. My personal fav is the business card scanner & the RDS in the FM radio. To be honest the phone is too good. It's not bulky like the other PDAs out there & can easily fit into your jeans pocket like a normal phone

Bought this phone after reading the mainly good reviews.

Size & design looks good at first sight. It will take a while to get use to the button keys. End up using the stylus a lot, thus a 2 hand operation. Take awhile to understand the operation of the phone, not something that will get you going the moment you get it out of the box.

Screen may be big but difficulty reading the text, not sharp & bright.

Scroll & return buttons pretty stiff.

Battery drains off pretty fast.

Camera is a disappointment. So is the music player.

Basically if you expect this to be a fun & play phone, you will be disappointed.

I returned this phone after a day as I was expected an all rounded phone. Fun, work & play. : (
