I'm trying to decide whether or not to finally get an ipod touch and just a cheaper phone or whther one of these is as good as having both - plus a camera?

I've had these things before (walkman) and the sound wasn't as great as they would have you believe - my advice is to either get a camera phone for snapshots and a mp3 phone for travel - if you want an all in one they rarely have good levels in each.

I've had this thing for just over a week now, and it is quite nice. I have not come across any deal-breakers yet.

The sound on this is comparable to my nano, and I've actually stopped using my nano. At first, I thought it would drain the battery significantly, but I can go 3/4ths of the day playing music off this phone and still have plenty of battery a hour long or so call.

The headset plug is rather nice in that it lets you use your own headphones for listening to the mp3s. (This does add wire length, but I usually have it under my shirt anyhow.)

The mic that came with this is better than most I've bought for other phones.

The only negative thing is the UI is a bit sluggish while listening to music. However, turn off the media player, and the UI is quick and responsive. The UI, in general, is much better than other phones I have used.

The video call functionality is interesting, but I don't think many providers have the infrastructure setup for its use.

Taking videos with this phone produces videos you can actually stand to watch, as opposed to other phones, like the Razr V3, that turns out rather choppy videos.

This phone is exceptionally light weight and slim, which makes this phone appealing.

I was actually going to buy the 880, but then this phone came up. I'm glad I bought this one!
