I have brought a w960i and i have to say its very very good, i had the n95 8gb and iphone and i think the w960i is a better overall product, the speaker is very loud and clear (the loudest ive heard). I brought 10 more of which have sold on ebay in less than 2days :), didnt make alot of profit but wat the hell some1 had to bring these beasts to the uk :).

This is a very good and brilliant phone because of its great degsin and its quality and connectivity when it comes to ringing people, texting people or even when it comes to bluetooth. This phone is a music walkman it can contain a wide range of memory cards including 8 gb. And just below the large,clear screen is three easy to use tough screen buttons to controll your music. And the packaging contains imformation and clear sounding speaker phones. Built in with a 3.2 megapixel camera 3d java gaming systems a vibration alert this phone is the best walkman and sony ericsson yet!

like its camera-type brother, the k850i??? You couldn't even say what is wrong about it! In my opinion, it's the current mobile phone you could ever dream of!!! (...After all, I confess I'm a little bit obsessed with mobile phones -just lately-, and after months of researching, I can seriously say the w960i is the best round-all phone available, just followed by SE's k850i and the P1i, then Samsung's G800 and F900, and then, Nokia 6500 Slide, N95 8GB and N81 8GB) [Editor's reply: Read the final paragraph of our review if you want to know why we have given the W960i 4 stars, not 5. By the way, the K850i is not the "brother" of this phone. The W960i is Symbian based, and should be considered the brother of the P1i. It's a different class of phone and comes with both advantages and disadvantages. Don't get us wrong - we think the W960i is an absolutely fabulous phone, but it definitely won't suit everyone. It's not really a mainstream product.

This phone technically has a number of failings. The screen is too small for practical use, of hand writing compare it to the Palm TX which has been out for a number of years. For a touch sensitive screen there is no need for a phone pad. I don't get it, what is it all that about. Mixed messages.

The OS is dated & has been surpassed by WM6. Sony is at odds with the developers over this having stated that development is not going in the direction they want. Don't expect to see another version of this platform. Note who Palm have both WM & Palm OS's on their phones. Why because WM is technically better but everyone loves Palm simplicity they catch all this way. If you want mobile mail blackberry still remains champ.

About the only thing going for it is the design & I have to be honest & say I am a fan of Sony styling. They never made an ugly anything. Quality is second to none also. The phone will not be loved by demanding users but will be desirable & in the hands of other evoke envy I don't doubt.

It's a P1 with great appeal & that's about it. I won't be buying one not at that price but I would like to try one.
