Ericsson's are good but I know about 5 of my mates & me that have had lots of problems, yet I won't fault it because it's not everyone.

Choose a phone that has the specification you want & looks nice, then get used to it!

I've take a few pictures & they are good quality, shame the flash doesn't double as a torch for those drunken walks home but definitely takes good pictures. I have a decent digital camera as well so the phone is a bonus for me.

I like the design, it feels so slim after the W810i & I think we're going to get along fine!

Beware the wounded samsung (Rob Clark, Croydon, UK)

A phone with serious flaws: appalling instructions and user interface makes it a real pain to do basic things like customising the ring tone or stopping it from bleeping with every key press, although I eventually worked both of these out. Also the bluetooth earpiece supplied is a worthless Christmas cracker trinket, it relies entirely on the uncomfortable earbud to hold it in place:

Samsung G600. Not entirely without its faults or failings, this is still one exceptionally good mobile phone.

I actually bought the silver G600, which is constructed by & large from what seems stainless steel, with just the battery cover being silver plastic. All this metal really contributes to a sense of high quality which I really like & wouldn't swap, albeit it might not resist knocks & bumps as well as an all-plastic mobile would. For instance, the steel might dent slightly whilst plastic would just scratch. However, that's not a complaint, just an opinion.

I had a nokia n95, and had a lot of problems with the software, the slide construction, and eventual death of the screen. I wanted a relatively inexpensive phone that had a decent camera to replace it. This has done the trick. Both the camera quality and the mp3 playback are far superior to the n95. The video is not quite as good, but I can live with that. The menus are very fluid, and the nice people at T-mobile were nice enough to configure it over the phone even though they knew it was not one of their phones. All features work perfectly. The contruction of the phone is very impressive, and I feel the price of $300 is a great price for it. Also timtechs.com had it to me within 2 days. Excellent phone and service.
